AI Fashion Design Workshop: From Design to Manufacturing

Join us for an interactive workshop exploring the intersection of sustainable fashion and AI-assisted design. This hands-on event brings together fashion designers, sustainability enthusiasts, and technology innovators to reimagine everyday wear using ethical materials and cutting-edge design tools.
Schedule
- 4:30 PM: 4:30pm: Refreshments + designing with Flair’s AI platform
- 5:00pm: Welcome from Rethink the Runway (RTR) and Flair + demo of Flair’s design to manufacturing process
- 5:30pm: Fireside chat about ethical inclusion of AI into design process with RTR’s Mira Musank and Flair’s Justin Kwong, followed by audience Q&A
- 6:15pm: Refreshments + continue designing + networking
- 7:00pm: Event concludes

Materials & Sustainability
All design material options are sustainably sourced, with an emphasis on emerging and innovative fabrics that are shaping the future of fashion. Participants will get hands-on experience with low-impact, high-performance textiles and insights into their environmental benefits and supply chains, such as TENCEL™ Lyocell, hemp / hemp blends, organic cotton, milk fabric, or bamboo linen.
Garment Design Competition
- Create a design during the workshop (submit via Flair app)
- Public voting will determine the winning design
- The winning design will be professionally produced and sent to the creator
- Designers retain full ownership of their creations
