At the heart of the Mohawk Mosaics packaging design is something unusual in paper specifying tools: Play. As Mohawk and Fedrigoni’s love letter to color and texture, the grade is made up of 28 fresh, forward-thinking colors and 4 dramatic textures—all opening up design possibilities. We wanted to capture some of the fun of using color in the design process in the packaging itself. So we unburdened the papers from a waterfall or a wire-o and packaged them loose as cards that you can mix and match together combining color. Each card is not just a sample but a complete object in its own right, showcasing unique colors, textures, and patterns that offer a satisfying tactile experience.
