Play Ethic Studio @ The Drawing Room Communal Table

Friday nights, The Drawing Room Annex hosts a communal art table in their large gallery on Valencia St. It’s a space to create, connect, learn, and inspire one another.

Join Shasta Garcia of Play Ethic Studio to wind down your Friday in this Design Week edition of Communal Table. We’ll play with watercolors, handmade palettes, and basic drawing supplies. No painting experience is needed. Bring your big kid energy! This is time and space for play, experimentation, or trying something new. Shasta will be there to give mixing advice if you need it.

While visiting the gallery, you can also enjoy the latest exhibit installation.

This is a drop-in event. Come anytime, 6 pm – 10 pm.

Play Ethic Studio offers creativity coaching, design consulting, art workshops, and creativity tools. The studio supports creatives and the creatively curious. The Drawing Room Annex gallery space is positioned perfectly on the corner of 17th and Valencia Streets. Bathed in natural light from expansive corner windows, this particular space had been dormant for years. By transforming long-shuttered storefronts into dynamic gallery and community spaces, The Drawing Room not only showcase San Francisco’s diverse and vibrant artists but also revitalize dormant potential — bringing people, community, and engagement to spaces in need.
