Teams will draw\, plan\, and build prototypes\, working collaboratively under the guidance of design professors from SFSU. The moment of truth – the egg drop! – will be recorded and shared with participants. Additionally\, people attending the workshop will take a half-hour guided tour of the School of Design facilities\, visiting shops\, classrooms\, asking questions\, and seeing students’ works exhibited in the hallways and galleries. \nWorkshop Location: Fine Arts Building Terrace (meeting point at the ramp between the Fine Arts and the Cesar Chavez buildings)

SUMMARY:HCI: Human Connection Interaction
DESCRIPTION:Leave your titles at the door\, and arrive with curiosity in your heart. This gathering is a chance to get to know each other for who you really are without your job title\, achievements\, accomplishments\, or other markers of status and success. First names only. No job titles or company names. For one hour\, you’ll step into an altered reality where you’ll learn about others and allow yourself to be known not for “what you do” but for who you are — as humans who have triumphed over the twists and turns of your life. You will be immersed in others’ stories\, and you’ll bless them by sharing your own. This guided conversation is an experience of uncommon authenticity and you might discover that this co-created experiment is your favorite interaction of the week. If you crave openness\, intimacy\, kindness\, and you have a willingness to try new things\, then this is absolutely for you.
