Recognizing the growing market for innovative lighting projection and interactive installations he put together a team of artists and engineers to design and build the architectural lighting installations Digital Ambiance is now known for. Using a combination of immersive technologies\, parametric design\, and cutting-edge design principles Digital Ambiance is pushing the boundaries of what it means to create architectural lighting and new media installations. \n  \nNICK MOSER\nPartner\, Creative Technologies\nLMNL\nSan Francisco Bay Area\, CA \nNick describes his work as “designing better spaces for humans.” With a robust roster of public art\, placemaking\, and tech-enabled experiences—as well as a Masters in Integrated Design\, Business\, and Technology—he specializes in immersive spaces that foster deeper appreciation of community\, environment\, and each other. His ventures have garnered press from The New York Times\, Scientific American\, Vox\, and University of Southern California\, among others. \n  \nPAUL CHAVEZ\nAssociate\, Technology Design & User Experience\nArup\nGreater Los Angeles Area\, California \nPaul Chavez is an Associate at the international engineering firm Arup\, where he specializes in Experience and Interaction Design. With over 30 years of experience in sensory technology design for the built environment he has designed for a wide variety of applications. He has served as the technical director for Luminex\, a bi-annual community video art event in downtown Los Angeles. Additionally\, his writings on occupant engagement in smart buildings to enhance performance have been featured on ArchDaily.  As an educator\, Paul is a lecturer in the Design program at California State University\, Long Beach\, where he teaches in the graduate program for Human Experience Design & Interaction (HXDI). He has also shared his expertise as a guest lecturer at prestigious institutions like USC and SciArc. \n  \nAbout SEGD\nSEGD exists at the intersection of experiential design and technology-driven architectural storytelling.
