SUMMARY:Design 101
DESCRIPTION:High school students\, community college students\, and anyone else interested in design are invited to DESIGN 101\, a 2-3hour workshop where participants will explore the principles of design through a hands-on session. DESIGN 101 will start with a brief introduction to design principles. Participants will rotate through several activities including virtual reality world building\, design principles button making\, and low-fidelity prototyping. These activities are aimed at individuals considering a design education in the future\, curious folks looking to explore design activities\, employers looking for a pool of potential candidates for future job openings\, and anyone curious about the SFSU design school\, our resources\, and our faculty.
